Hummer Tours:

The mysterious desert... Only minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Rough terrain and dry crushing heat destroys anything not especially equipped to be there. But you are in the most powerful, safest off road vehicle ever built. THE HUMMER!

BUCKLE UP & GET READY FOR THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME!

There may be something at the beautiful playground called Las Vegas that you haven't seen before. It was here long before man built the first casino or even dreamed of the first campfire. And, it didn't take millions of dollars to create... it took millions of years

Hummer tours available:

Red Rock National Reserve: Departs daily 9:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. $139/person

This thrilling 3-hour tour is a rewarding scenic experience. While you are busy with your camera the driver will introduce the fascinating plants and animals surviving there. Or, maybe you would just like to relax and gaze at the spectacular geological formations while enjoying clean fresh air, and unbelievable peace. Enjoy beautiful, panoramic Red Rock from its vistas as we continue on Route 159 through the canyon. Majestic Spring Mountains and giant Joshua trees line our way as we pass Bonnie Springs Ranch - Old Nevada and the historic village of Blue Diamond. Then, the Hummer begins your off road adventures!

Desert Safari: Departs daily 9:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. $139/person

This thrilling 3.5-hour adventure begins as you travel on trails once used by early explorers. You’ll see deserted mines and the ruins of old mining camps. Stop at abandoned mines for plenty of photo opportunities as your expert guides explain the fascinating history of this area. If you are interested, stop at a dry wash for some treasure hunting. More adventurous people may find beautiful mineralized stones or, even, GOLD! Then, we'll maneuver through winding trails in a majestic Joshua Tree Forest. Joshua Trees are unique due to their large size and unusual physical characteristics and are an attractive component of the desert. Climb over obstacles impossible for other vehicles and discover why Hummers meet the strong demands of the U.S. Military. Continuing on, we'll ascend 4,000 feet for a breathtaking view of valleys and mountains! Keep your cameras ready - you may encounter Big Horn Sheep, Wild Burros, Mustangs and even the elusive Kit Fox! Visit the Pioneer Saloon! Built in 1913, it’s still open and happy to serve you. See the memorial to Clark Gable’s wife, whose plane crashed on Mount Potosi in 1942. Learn the history of this old mining town, turned almost ghost town and why it’s called Goodsprings from your knowledgeable driver-guide. This is one adventure you won't soon forget!

Ancient Valley (6 hours w/ box lunch):  Departs daily 8:00 a.m.  $179/person
An hour north of Las Vegas is a mysterious valley of brilliant colors and a wonderland of rock formations. A breathtaking place where one can see spectacular scenery created by 500 million years of earth movements.  Your experienced guide will help you find petrified wood - the remains of trees washed into this valley by floods and becoming fossilized through a complicated chemical process over millions of years.  You will hear of unexplained occurrences in Area 34(not area 51). Some speculate they may have been extraterrestrial in origin.  Includes visit to the Moapa Paiute Native American Indian Travel Plaza and lunch!

Gold Rush Adventure:  Departs daily 9:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.  $199/person

Your 4-hour "Gold Rush" adventure begins as we travel in air-conditioned comfort to historic Eldorado Canyon. Today, the town of Nelson is a ghost town visited mostly by adventure seekers and world famous Hollywood producers. At the old Savage Mine, experienced guides will explain the interesting history as you enter deep caverns where determined miners once risked their lives for millions of dollars of gold before there was a Las Vegas!  Then the excitement continues as your powerful Hummer travels deep into the desert on old mining trails not accessible by your everyday vehicles. After a stunning view of the famous Colorado River, your guide will share secrets of the early prospectors and may even give you a few minutes to do some treasure hunting yourself!

NEW!! Red Rock Canyon Off-Road “SCOUT” Adventure!

Travel to your off-road experience by Scenic Route 159 through beautiful Red Rock Canyon. Then you’re off on an exciting ride in our modified Desert Scout Vehicle (HIMREY - High Mobility Reconnaissance Vehicle to the United States Army). More than an hour of fun for the entire family! Fasten your safety belt and hang on for an adventure through scenic desert trails once traveled by Spanish explorers and prospectors searching for gold and silver. Our knowledgeable guide will share desert secrets on this fascinating expedition over Devils Backbone, Dead Man wash, Jeep Trap Ditch, Rattlesnake wash and ragged cliffs to 4,000 feet for a breathtaking, panoramic view of the Las Vegas Valley. Water is provided on the tour and you’ll receive a souvenir map identifying all the unusual spots visited.
